Reflexology

Few of us take good care of our feet but they are extremely important to our overall sense of wellbeing. Reflexology involves the application of pressure techniques to the reflexes of the feet which represent all the systems of the body. By stimulating these reflexes a balancing effect is achieved in the body helping to balance hormones, produce deep relaxation, improve mood, reduce anxiety, sleep is improved, reduced headaches and reduced stress levels. Reflexology is suitable for both young and old and is so relaxing people often fall asleep during treatment.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is ideal for anyone involved in regular sports or if you suffer from muscular aches, pains or overuse injuries. It involves manipulation of the soft tissues helping to restore range of movement, flexibility, accelerates healing, breaks down scar tissue and improves the condition of the muscle fibres. If you are hampered by hamstring strain, ITB (illiotibial band) problems, Achilles tendon difficulties, sciatica, tight gluts or minor knee problems then sports massage is for you.  Alternatively, if you sit at a desk and have neck and shoulder tension then sports massage can also be of great help to you.

Hot Stone Massage

Deeply relaxing and comforting: the most indulgent massage there is. The warmth of the stones helps to melt deep muscular tension and stress and has an uplifting effect on mood. Basalt stones are heated in water and are then used for the massage. This treatment is ideal as a stress buster, a gift for someone special or for general muscular aches and pains.

Thermo Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles)

A relaxing treatment where ear candles are inserted into the entrance to the ear. As the candle burns down a mild suctioning affect helps create balance within the ear and Eustachian tube. This treatment is helpful for conditions affecting the ear, nose and throat such as sinusitis, excessive ear wax, irritation in the ear, Meniere's disease, air pressure during flying and hay fever.
